The Action Network Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to helping progressive organizations incorporate relational organizing strategies alongside their mobilization, digital, and data programs in order to build progressive power.
Mark Fleischman is the President of the Action Network Fund, which he founded after 25 years in the labor movement. Mark has been the architect of numerous successful comprehensive campaigns, overseeing the multi-dimensional fronts of corporate research, shareholder actions, consumer boycotts, complex litigation strategies, corporate governance and worker organization. Mark began his career helping build the Brown Lung Association, an advocacy organization that resulted in legislation to protect textile millworkers from brown lung disease.
Douglas Land is the Chairman of the Action Network Fund and the managing director and founder of The Chesapeake Group, a New York-based financial advisory services firm. He was the founding principal at Economic Analysis Group, Ltd. in Washington D.C., where he created CASE TRAK, a leading litigation management software. Douglas serves on the boards of the Orange County Land Trust, Scenic Hudson, the Hudson Highlands Land Trust and the New York region of the Anti-Defamation League.
Jeffrey Dugas is Communications Director at the Action Network Fund, where he is responsible for developing effective online campaign strategies, creating organizational materials, writing and designing content, and managing social media . Jeffrey joined the organization in 2012, bringing with him a range of skills and experience from his work with the Center for American Progress, the Scottish Parliament, and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. A graduate of George Washington University, Jeffrey also worked for Elizabeth Warren’s successful 2012 senatorial campaign.
Brian Young, the Executive Director of the Action Network Fund, is a key architect of the organization’s vision and execution. He leads the strategy and technology of the organization., Brian spent a decade at the forefront of the digital revolution in politics. He spent four years heading up the digital operations for John Kerry’s political operation and worked in the earliest days of Howard Dean’s presidential campaign. Brian also has run a Congressional campaign and created television ads for multiple political campaigns.
Jason Rosenbaum is the Director of Technology at the Action Network Fund. He was a digital developer at Health Care for America and the Senior Online Campaign Director at the Progressive Change Campaign Committee where he helped develop PCCC’s new website and organizing interface, pushed for Internet freedom, a strong social safety net, increased taxes on the rich, and helped progressive Congressional campaigns set up effective online organizing programs.
